Our Story

Hiya!

My name is Dami Fawehinmi and I am the CEO and founder of Navii Media, a media and events company set up to create representation for marginalized communities and creatives. Journals Of Dami: a media page dedicated to amplifying the multi-dimensional narratives and experiences of Black people and more. @visualsbyjod my
photography and arts prints company and @thenoirnarrative an art collective for Black LGBTQIA+ folks in the North East.

Being a Black non-binary person, I know exactly what it feels like to be underrepresented, however, through the power of social media it has given me the platform to raise our voices and create our own tables, share unique stories and help others. Being in lockdown has helped me further realise my hopes for these three platforms, who I hope it helps and the futures I hope it can create.

We all have a story to tell, a narrative and unique experiences that are all important which is why we should be able to unapologetically exist and connect with our beautiful communities. This inspired me to donate 10% of sales bi-annually to two different charities there will also be a donation box at the top if you would like to donate or find out more.

If you would like to work together please contact me at VisualsByJOD@Gmail.com or contact me here.
